Meeting with GIZ renewable energy team 19th January

Frank Stegmüller invited YLLI to meet with his team at their office in Menteng. We shared experiences and YLLI presenting the concept for Nanusa. Frank suggested we should work together in the very near future. GIZ is about to start their SOCOOL project, – setting up solar powered cold-chains for fisheries development in Indonesia, including in the fishing port of Bitung Port. He suggested YLLI could work closely with his team to identify how GIZ could support increased value chain capture for artisanal fishers in Nanusa and Talaud. YLLI agreed to include mapping of the existing cold chain facilities in Talaud to their next visit to Talaud in early 2023.
