News

YLLI team went back to Nanusa almost 18 years after the 2004 Summer School. It was a surprise to find that many of the participants of the summer school were now senior community leaders including the Camat, who welcomed us on the beach when we arrived. He asked if YLLI could come back to Nanusa and help- help address the degrading environment and particularly help Nanusa adapt to the increased impact of climate change, – the frequent storms that were causing abrasion on both Karatung and Karakelang islands.
